Happy New Year! I am really happy to announce that I have become an editorial intern for Forever Wild Child, a monthly fashion and entertainment editorial for babies, kids, teens and the adults who love them. A new year means new outfits and tips, so I wanted to share this exclusive look included in the editorial to help anyone who loves the color pink but finds it a bit difficult to style. While I prefer dark colors, especially during the winter, I still keep my wardrobe filled with pink apparel for when I am feeling a more graceful, not necessarily feminine, ensemble (remember, pink is not just for girls!).

In this look, pink works as a great accent in many ways. I am wearing a white long-sleeve tee with a pink corset from Berskha, as well as a pink faux fur jacket from Missguided. Faux fur coats were definitely the highlight of fashion trends in 2017, but who said we can’t carry that trend into 2018? If you are looking for a cute, yet inexpensive, faux fur coat, Missguided, and Forever21 sell a bomb variety of them.
Like Michael Kors said, accessories are the exclamation point of a woman. I accessorize with a large, handmade, gold necklace, a handbag from Zara that sums up my mood for 2018, with a pink puffball keychain attached, and white retro sunglasses to complete my look. Small handbags or sunglasses can make great accessories for any look; accessories that make statements are even better because fashion is such an amazing way to express yourself and your beliefs while looking good.

I hope this post was helpful and encourages you all to wear your pink apparel and accessories confidently. Also, I hope you all have a happy new year filled with love and positive vibes.
