New lewk alert! First of all, I hope everyone is staying safe during this time. At this point, I do not think anyone (not even doctors) knows when this coronavirus pandemic will get better but I pray it gets better soon. It is nice being home with my family because we have not been under the same roof for more than 48 hours in a long time; so it is nice that I get a chance to spend plenty of time with them but I miss my friends so much. The best part about being a college student is being able to come home for a certain period then go back to school to be with friends and have a little more freedom. However, I think I should be home during this time just because this pandemic is becoming so overwhelming by the day. I hope we are all doing everything we can to stay safe, take care of ourselves, and take care of those who may need help during this time.
Second of all, let's get into this look. Now that it is my favorite season, Spring, I can pull out all my Spring outfits and this one is officially at the top of the list. For this outfit, I am wearing a purple slip dress designed with feathers. I got this dress from Boohoo and instantly fell in love with the lavender color but I also love the feathered design, which is becoming a thing and I do not mind. I have noticed brands selling crop tops or bustier tops lined with feathers and I like the design of most of them. I do not mind feathers if there is not a lot of them and as long as they do not fall off easily. As you can see in the pictures above, the back has straps in a criss-cross design. Also, I pair this dress with a black corduroy trucker jacket from PLT just because the weather is not warm enough to start walking around without some kind of jacket and I get cold easily lol.
I am wearing Steve Madden on my feet; I think these shoes work with the dress the most because while I can still see myself wearing gold jewelry with this look, I can also make silver work and these shoes are proof of that. With a pair of silver strappy heels, I decided to accessorize with plenty of silver jewelry including rings, a bracelet, an anklet, and a hairpin that says 'LUVME.' I also include a clear handbag that I got from Forever21.
