Hi luvs! I wanted to write this new blog post to share some new products that I received from Smashbox Cosmetics to celebrate the holiday season! As most of you already know, I have been working with the brand as a student ambassador and I have been given the opportunity to try so many of their best-selling products as well as their new products like the Holiday Collection that was just released.
The brand sent me some of their products in reusable boxes with custom art by Donald Roberston (@drawbertson on Instagram) that include: the Halo Cheek Palette, Be Legendary Lipstick Trio Set, Always on Liquid Lip Set, and Gloss Angeles Trio Set.
While I love all the products that I received, I especially love the Be Legendary Lipstick Trio set that features 3 full-sized Be Legendary Lipsticks in the shades Easy, Get Fired, and Black Cherry. Get Fired is a warm red that is the perfect shade for the holiday season but I really love Black Cherry for the Fall/Winter season since I wear darker outfits that pair well with it. The Halo Cheek Palette is another one of my favorites because it includes 2 luminous putty blushes & 2 radiant powder highlighters that can be worn alone or layered to create a custom glow. This cheek palette is curated with a range of holiday-inspired champagne, mauve, bronze & coral shades that are velvety, blendable & go on smoothly without emphasizing skin texture and it works really well with my skin tone, which I appreciate.
The Always On Liquid Lip set includes 4 liquid matte lipsticks that deliver bold, lightweight color with a velvety matte finish that lasts for up to 8 hours. I am personally a fan of matte lipstick products over satin so wearing these shades with all my lewks this season. Lastly, the Gloss Angeles Trio Set is a holiday gift set of full-size hydrating lip glosses that nourish lips with hyaluronic acid & vitamin E & create the illusion of fuller-looking lips.
